The Struggle
The struggle I have when setting up membership site with software is that most of the time, it is very technical and for a non technical person like me can be very tough. In addition, some of the powerful membership software can be very expensive!!! I remember there was once I stumble across a membership software that cost around $3,995 and some have to pay monthly fee for it which I do not like. I am sure you get what I mean

In this portion, I want to share with you some of the membership software that I use in the past. Most of them are actually good but they do not meet my needs for my business. The first membership software that I personally use is Amember.
It is actually a very good product when it come to protecting your content but the thing that I do not like about Amember is that it is not very easy to install and not easy to customize. Therefore if you really want to use Amember and do not want to mess with the technical portion, you surely want to outsource this task of customization.
The second membership software that I personally used is WordPress Wishlist. This is a good plugin if you want to use wordpress as your CMS for your membership site. The plugin is very easy to install and it is pretty easy to configure your setting with it. However, it doesn’t protect the content from hotlining or have an affiliate system built in
After trying 2 of the membership software, I became a bit skeptical to buy another membership software because they didn’t provide me what I really need.
The Success
Then one fine day, one of my friend was chatting with me on Google chat and in the middle of the conversation he ask me if I was building membership site? My answer to him was of course I am but could not find one that suit my needs.
